The serene environment of Owerri the Imo State Capital has been disbursed with the infiltration of supposed members of All Progressive Congress (APC) henchmen and supporters who took over the state since Tuesday night.
Trumpeta checks revealed that leading the pack is the APC Governorship Candidate in the Saturday election in Anambra state Senator Chris Ngige who relocated to Imo state in the past couple of days, to possibly perfect strategy for election.
All major hotels within and around the state were fully booked and occupied by these APC members whose nocturnal meetings have become a source of worry to Imolites.
Impeccable report has it that Governor Rochas Okorocha is leading the onslaught in the Anambra Governorship election for the APC which may have informed the relocation of the campaign and strategy headquarters of the party to Imo state.
It is alleged that APC in Imo State has already concluded arrangements to draft its members from Imo state to the neighbouring Anambra state in their plan “B” strategy to win the election by all means, as well as provision of logistics for the election.
However, state government House turned to a battle field as APC stakeholders engaged in free for-all yesterday when they exchanged blows over allocation and sharing of money for the election.
