Chief Emmanuel C. Iwuanyanwu has called on Nigerians to shun corruption and other social vices which have been the bane of our country. This call was made when the Leadership Development and Nation Building Initiative (LEDABI) paid him a courtesy call in his office at Owerri the Imo State capital.
Chief Iwuanyanwu noted that the problem with Nigeria started with Nigerian’s who have tried all they could to destroy the country. He pointed out that Nigeria requires a lot of leadership and committed nation builders and urged the group not to relent in their efforts in rebuilding Nigeria.
He advised the group to shun partisan politics in order to achieve their aims and objectives.
Ahaejiagamba Ndi-Igbo stressed his readiness to partner with any organization that is poised on repositioning the country for a better future.
Earlier in his remark, the National co-ordinator of LEDNABI, Hon Bright Saro Idornata said that the group, which he described as a formidable group is set to build leaders by sensitizing and reorientating the Nigerian youths.
He also noted that the courtesy call by the group became necessary so as to seek the blessings of the founding fathers of Nigeria’s modern democracy which Chief Iwuanyanwu happens to be one of them. He pointed out that the vision of the group is to inspire the Nigeria people, male and female to believed in Nigeria and invest greater resources into nation building.
Also speaking, the Chairman, central working committee and South-East zonal co-ordinator of the group Mr Sunny Nnaemeka St Clement pointed out that the group will not disappoint Nigerians by joining partisan politics but will focus on preparing Nigerian youths for leadership positions.
In his closing remark, the state co-ordinator of LEDNABI in Imo State, Prince Emma Alaribe thanked Chief Iwuanyanwu for granting them audience and promised to ensure that the aims and objectives of the group is achieved.
Others in attendance include: Ms Zenith Abubakar, Deputy National Co-ordinator, Mr Mc Donald Ekemezie, state secretary; Mr Chinedu Okere, state youth leader; Barr Ikechukwu Ezenagu, Anambra state co-ordinator, Mr Sunny Otti, Enugu state co-ordinator and their Ebonyi state counterpart, Nnamdi Okoro.
