One time Special Adviser on Security to Imo State Government, High Chief Zeek Martins Nnadozie has scored Owelle Rochas Okorocha’s administration zero in the area of security, saying that it is unfortunate.

Chief Nnadozie in an interview said that one of the greatest mistakes of the present administration is to dismantle and redeploy all the police officers it inherited from the previous administration as well as dismantle the vigilante groups.

Nnadozie who said that security is not something that is achieved through bravado, insisting that it is rather achieved by intelligent gathering.

Recounting the alarming rate of kidnapping in the state, the security expert maintained that Governor Okorocha must develop balls to handle all the kidnappings in the state. Adding that failure to do that would put everybody in trouble.

“If the situation continues like this, we will call on the president to declare a state of emergency here inImoStatebecause we shall not all die before something is done”.

Chief Nnadozie further said that the masses need to be alive to enjoy the roads, cenotaph, water, electricity and whatever the Governor claim he is building for the people.

“Look at him (Rochas), he walks around with people with machine guns, what do we walk around with? nothing. His cars are all bullet proof, and he leaves all of us walking around naked. He should do something urgently to protect ourselves”.

While disagreeing with catching of armed robbers and kidnappers, Chief Nnadozie said that he believes in given them Jungle Justice. This according to him will reduce their freedom as they are usually freed by politicians and highly connected in the society.

And therefore advised the Governor to jettison the mounting of street gates and improve the rapid response unity in the state with more equipments and manpower to be able to handle distress calls and situations.
