Federal Poly Nekede takes Aptitude Test with Candle

The Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Aptitude test that took place on 5th July 2012, was really something else and also a remarkable day for the ND1students that wrote on that day and it was School of Engineering and Sciences that wrote on that day and the population was really much, Science Technology Student was up to one thousand (1000) in number.   It was very terrible because there was no hall for them to write, causing a lot of delay on starting the exam.  Because of this fact, some student were entering hall by 7.00pm, you could imagine writing with their phone because there was no light to see what they were writing anymore.  Candles came to rescue as applicants were forced to use the tune to write exams when public power supply failed.  The transporters used it as a means of making money by increasing the transportation fee, traffic was nothing to write home about because there was a lot of hold up which made some students from far distance to be frustrated because there was no place for them to sleep and they didn’t plan for that.  Also and in the process, many of them were robbed of their phones, money and other things of which they couldn’t do anything about it.

It is quite a pity for them, but I think to remedy this situation is for the School Management to divide all the exam candidates into different parts to avoid such population to write exam on the same day again.
