The Youths of Umuaghoba, Isiekenesi in Ideato South Local Government Area, have stated loud and clear that they will not accept any manipulation by any group of people in their community to impose another Youth leader on them other than Engr. Udoka Ihedioha who was democratically elected by the Youth.
Report reaching Imo Trumpeta revealed that the plot to replace Engr. Udoka was hatched when a section of the community led by Chief John Nnadi demanded for a slot in the executive as an option for them to support the newly elected President General, Chief Marcel Nwosu in a reconciliation meeting organized by the PG with the section.
Mr Chinedu Okwara, wondered why the traditional ruler Eze Silas Ezeanyika and the PG should use the democratically elected Youth President/leader as an escape goat for their selfish interest called reconciliation. He went further to explain that the community had earlier agreed to use the incumbent community executives for the newly proposed 4th tier/Community Government Council (CGC) of Gov. Rochas Okorocha.
The Youth executive revealed that arrangement is on top gear to alert security agents on the threats on the life of their President Engr. Udoka. “It is on record that Chief Nwosu has threatened to arrest Engr. Udoka, if he continues to be recognized as youth leader, imagine that?”
The PG and his cohots should by ready to arrest the entire youth of Umuagobe because we elected Udoka and we will stand by him” one of the female youth assured.
They also warned that any attempt to deny them of the elected representation in the CGC, will call for another election for the new 4th tier government.
