Okorocha’s Free Education A Standard For Other Governors -Group

A group National Stability Vanguard (NSV) Imo State chapter has posited that the free education in Imo State as introduced by the Governor of the state Owelle Rochas Okorocha is a standard for other Governors in Nigeria.
The state chapter of NSV made up of men and women from the three zones in the state, stated that they are not out to promote zonal sentiments but as progressives, took it upon themselves to point Imo People to the right direction.
Speaking to newsmen in their office at Owerri, the National Coordinator of the group, Chief Steve Ahans pointed out that Governor Okorocha has set a standard in Nigeria and Africa for our Governors and African leaders.
According to Chief Ahans education is the best you can bequeath to anyone if all the Governors in Nigeria can emulate the Imo State Governor in offering free education to the citizenry, the level of illiteracy in Nigeria will be reduced to the lowest ebb, that can help Nigeria in the fight against corruption and joblessness he maintained.
Chief Ahans, a business mogul called on the Governor to remain focused and not to allow himself to be distracted, stressing that the Governor’s achievement so far is such that will make Imo People clamour for his return in 2015.
He called on Imo People to support the administration because God ordained it and has been the one piloting the affairs of the state since Okorocha came on board.
Also speaking, the Secretary of the Group Mazi Chukwuemeka Okolie
adviced Imo People to take their destiny in their own hands and ensure that the good works started by the Governor is sustained even after his exit from office.
The Governor has made a mark which no Governor since the creation of the state in 1976 has made, anyone coming into Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe can attest to the massive transformation of these areas in less than three years in the life of this administration. Imo People as it stands will always use this Government to measure others that will come after, Okolie maintained.
