A Frontline Politician in Imo State, Chief Jasper Ndubuaku has made a case for Okigwe Zone as Imo guber draws near.
Chief Jasper Ndubuaku, who spoke to Journalists at a public function in Owerri disclosed that the issue of equity which was strongly canvassed by some political leaders at the maiden Imo political summit in Owerri came up with incoherent and unrealizable verdict.
He accused the group that organized it of being short sighted, stating that any political communiqué that does not confront the present political configuration of Imo state in determining the political equilibrium is bound to fail.
The politician from Okigwe zone maintained that the issue of Equity must be all embracing.
He accused Owerri Political leaders of trying to jump the gun by insisting that it is their turn to produce the next governor of Imo state come 2015.
According to the Isiala Mbano born politician, he says Equity must have to be equatorial, fairness, and justice can not be swept under the carpet, stating that
Okigwe leaders must have to wake up to convince their brothers in Owerri to realize that the have to complete their term.
On the part of Owerri leaders, he disclosed that the number of aspirants from Owerri for the Imo guber race, points to unpreparedness and absence of teamwork that is needed to move the state forward. He charged Owerri political class to summon a meeting for themselves and opt for a dialogue with Okigwe zone.
The political leader urged Imo politicians to drop selfish-interest behind for a more progressive society.
