Imo Govt Confirms Rosemary Okeke’s Whereabout
Last week, Popular Side said that former Beauty Queen, Rosemary Okeke, whose whereabout a National Daily was asking about, was sighted at the seat of power in Owerri, the Douglas House. -Popular side also predicted that the woman may be the next protocol officer to Governor Rochas Okorocha. Today those predictions have come to pass as Okeke’s name was penciled down as the Executive Assistant on protocol to Governor Okorocha, and still inside Government House.
She now replaces another lady, whom sources said is now a magistrate.
But the question popular side continues to ask is this; why would Okeke reside inside Government House, even as a protocol officer? When did protocol officers begin to reside inside Douglas House?
Any way, policies do change. It may be that the current set-up now is for protocol officers to ever remain close to their principals, incase of quick and unplanned movement. Yes, it is possible! Yes it is possible! And it is possible! Amen.
Which Political Party does Imo Governor Okorocha Belong to?
Confusion don break bone for Imo State! It is very hard for any body to predict the political party habouring the Imo state Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha presently. This confusion arose from the scenario playing out in the state.
While the former Governor of Imo state, Dr Achike Udenwa has “officially” lowered the ACN flag in the state, and hoisted that of APC, Governor Okorocha is yet to lower that of APGA, and use both flags in different categories.
Popular side learnt that while Governor Okorocha uses the APC flag in his official vehicle, the APGA flag still adorns its usual place in his office in the Government House Owerri. Hmmnn!
When popular side asked those who are supposed to know, they said since APC was yet to begin registration of members officially, but recognized as a political party by INEC, Okorocha still remains in APGA until APC takes off fully with its registration of members.
Therefore, it means that the Governor belongs to both parties until things are finally sorted out. That is the reason he flies APC flag in his official car, and hoist APGA flag in his office. This
Heartland Match Turns Political
The event was a Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) encounter between Heartland Fc and Kano Pillars at the Dan Anyiam stadium Owerri but it however, metamorphosed to a political rally to the surprise of many. When the game first kicked-off at about 4 pm, the atmosphere inside Dan Anyiam was that of a football match, but much later into the game as the Deputy Governor of the state Prince Eze Madumere and his entourage made their way into the stadium apparently to continue showing his unflinching support to the club, it gradually began to wear the look of a political rally with all the serving and past political office holders finding their way inside the arena.
Popular side could not but begin to imagine what could have heralded the sudden overwhelming support and attendance of the Government House Servants including the Sole Administrators of all the 27 Local Government Areas at an NPFL game.
It was however, later gathered from an inside source that the gentle men and ladies (serving and old) who are all cabinet members in Rochas Okorocha’s regime are either lobbying for positions or to be recalled and were ordered by His Excellency the governor to march to the stadium.
The question now is, why now and for what purpose was this flooding of the Cabinet House members from Douglas house especially as they all entered the stadium free?
Any way let us hope the political rally sorry support will finally rescue heartland Fc from their misery.
