It was drama at Christ Anglican church, last Sunday at the thanksgiving ceremony of 2013 women August meeting organized by Udodiri Ndom Owere, the apex women group in Owerri.
During the thanksgiving event, the President General, Owerri Community Assembly, Chief Oweaya Christian Anukam called on the Church to caution the sacked Chairperson of the group, Mrs Comfort Mere to handover the affairs of the women group to the democratically elected Chairperson Mrs Justina Oguoma.
It will be recalled that the women group had conducted an election which removed Mrs Mere from office, but she refused to handover.
