A group of Investors from Brazil has perfected arrangements for the establishment of Sugar Cane and Crude Oil industries in Imo State.
When finally established, the Sugar Cane Industry will create no fewer than three hundred permanent jobs and another one thousand casual workers.
In a statement made available to Trumpeta on the development and signed by the Chief promoter of Madage Hytek Industries Ltd, Prof. Godson Adindu, the sugar cane industry when fully operational will also generate ethanol energy for commercial use as well as guarantee food sufficiency with its anticipated eighty five thousand bags daily production of sugar cane.
In the same vein, the Crude Oil refinery according to the statement will produce no fewer than one hundred barrels of oil daily in addition to about one thousand job opportunities to the unemployed youths in the state.
Prof Adindu therefore appealed for the co-operation of both Imo state government and the people of the state in the realisation of this giant stride in the development and elimination of unemployment in the state.
“The Factory will guarantee food sufficiency by producing 85,000 Bags of Sugar daily, the Crude Oil Refinery will produce at least 100 barrels per day, create at least 1000 job opportunities for Imo Citizenry. Besides, the combined Industries will be paying Annual Tax as Industrial Concern to Imo State Government” Prof Adindu disclosed.
He said the Sugar Cane plantation will start harvesting after one year, while the Industries will be supported wholly and entirely by the International Investors 100%.
The News of the coming Industries has gladdened the heart of thousands of unemployed Imo Graduates who believe that the project will reduce the number of unemployed youths in Imo State.
