CGC OFFICE COMMISSIONED IN NEKEDE.

The Ancient Kingdom of Nekede in Owerri West L.G.A of Imo state yesterday officially commissioned its Community Government Council office at the hall of the community movement office situated at the Nekede market.

Declaring the hall open for the CGC Government, the Eze Elect, Stephen Agumanu stated that the CGC Government is here to stay because it is in line with the Rochas Okorocha’s Rescue Mission Agenda. The CGC Government, he said will bring lasting solution to community development in Imo state and urged indigenes of Nekede Ancient Kingdom and the people of Imo state to embrace the good policies of the Rochas Okorocha’s led administration.

Speaking at the ceremony, pastors from various churches and a catchiest from the Catholic Church drew their quotations from the bible illustrating good leadership quality and the fear of God, stressing that only with God fearing leader can meaningful developments gain root in the community. They pointed out that the Eze Elect Stephen Agumanu is an exemplary figure of a God fearing leader.

Addressing the people, the secretary to the CGC Government Mrs. Igbo B.M.N spelt out the aims and objectives of the CGC and charged the people of Nekede Ancient Kingdom to perform optimumlly with her wealth of experience.

A prayer section was also held at the hall for the members of the CGC and the people of Nekede ancient kingdom.
