Mbaise Nation Makes Case For 2015 Guber As PDP Mobilizes Nkwerre Stakeholders

Ahead of 2015 elections, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over the weekend held its Mobilization Rally at PDP Secretariat, Umuko in Nkwerre LGA, Imo State, against 2015 general election. The State Mobilization Rally aims to rekindle the spirit of party members to achieve political victory in Imo State and beyond.

Speaking at the rally, the state PDP Mobilization Chairman, Chief Jerry Chukwueke, said the essence of the rally was to conscientise the people and create enabling environment in the party. Saying that Imo PDP will enshrine opportunity for good governance so that the party will be returned to its status quo. “PDP will remain the ruling party in 2015. We do not have problem with the opposition political parties if they are constructive and people-oriented” Chief Chukwueke said. He accused APC of high-handedness as it wants to remove President Jonathan and install a Muslem as the President of Nigeria to quash boko haram insurgency.

Chief Chukwueke explained that over 40 percent of Imo people are unemployed and promised that PDP shall provide job opportunities for unemployed youths of Imo when voted into power in 2015. He appealed to party faithfuls to work hard, in unity and with common objective to bring peace and development to the people.

The state PDP Chairman, Barr Duru Ihuoma, urged PDP members to be active to regain their lost political glory in Imo state in 2015.

Welcoming the Committee, the Nkwerre LGA PDP Chairman, Dr Nze Egbuchu advised Nkwerre people to always support PDP to win elections in the future.

Chief Steve Agbarakwe advised PDP members to always support the party to correct their past mistakes to move forward.
