Imo PDP Youths Ask Government For Empowerment

The Bamanga Mohammed Tukur Youth Transformative Initiative (BMT-YTSI) Imo State chapter, that participated in the Imo Stakeholders Forum, Maiden Imo Political summit 2013, which was held recently at All Seasons Hotels, Owerri, with the theme “Restoring the Imo Charter of Equity”, wherein elite and dignitaries featured to brainstorm on socio-political development of Imo state in 2015, have called on the government at all levels to provide jobs for the teaming unemployed youths to carve a niche for themselves.
Speaking to Trumpeta shortly after the summit, the president of the groups Comrade Casmir Irekamba, implored those in government to always have the future of the youths at heart urging them to respect the charter of Equity so that Imo youths who are employable will be empowered accordingly and hence become good leaders of tomorrow. Comrade Irekamaba emphasized that something urgent should be done to assuage the unemployment, marginalization, and undue sufferings of Imo Youths to check youth restiveness.
Comrade Irekamba maintained that when power sharing formula is duly followed by the three senatorial zones in Imo state there will be peace and development. He enjoined the youths to shun vices and work hard to succeed in life.
Adding his voice, the state publicity secretary of BMT-YTSI, Onyenegecha Emmanuel Chidi, told Imo youths to imbibe morality and support Owerri zone to produce quality person to rule Imo in 2015.
