Osina Community hospital to render door to door medical services, Says Fr Nnagha

The first indigenous priest and Chairman Osina Community Hospital Management Board, Very Rev. Fr Dr. Don Nngha has said the hospital will embark on door to door medical services.
Fr. Nnagha disclosed this at the commissioning of the new hospital Ambulance Emergency services donated by Osina youth Club recently. In his address, the Chairman stated that the 100 bed capacity hospital which was managed by a team of German Medical Doctors and technicians in the past has come to be efficient stressing that the hospital is to be referral hospital around the area, and with the commissioning of the new ambulance, there will be instant health services stating that this can uplift the standard of the hospital as well save lives of patients in danger of death.
He added that they intend to undertake rural medical outreach and door to door medical services to aged patients. Fr. Nnagha also pleaded with OYC members to come to their aid in providing the hospital with uninterrupted electricity and borehole facilities. He appealed for counterpart funding through relevant government and inter-governmental agencies like NDDC and IWADA in restoring the basic amenities for the teeming population in the area.
Responding, the Chairman of the event, Chief Jude Nwagbo testified on the benefits of the hospital and urged his colleagues to support the hospital adding that since the assumption of Fr Don Nnagha as the Chairman there has been surprises ranging from the donation of ultrasound machine to the hospital.
High point of the occasion was cash and material donations made by the president OYC, Mr. Augustine Chukwuka, Chairman, Chief Jude Nwagbo, Chief C.U. Nwadike, Ezinna Clement Ofornagoro, Con. BC Muoneke (Rtd) out, president, Eze O.S.B Igwito, Eze Osina of Osina and Chief Iheaku among others.
