Achom Ihim Vows To Change The Face Of Okigwe

The long held back- wardness of Okigwe Constituency will be a thing of the past at the end of four year legislative tour of duty by Hon Acho Ihim.
The Deputy Majority Leader, and Chairman of Information Committee in the Imo House of Assembly Hon Acho Ihim made this declaration while speaking to Journalists in Imo state.
The Lawmaker who used the Forum to x-ray some of his achievements so far, and projections for the future said he has used his position as the legislator representing Okigwe to attract various projects to the constituency, apart from helping in moving motions and promulgating laws that will benefit people of Okigwe.
Among the projects attracted by Hon Achom Ihim, include construction and dualization of Umulolo- LIMCA road, which is about seven kilometers, Isi Okwe boundary road, police station at GRA, etc.
The Deputy Majority leader said he will see to the completion of Princess Hotel Okigwe, a market in each of the Autonomous Communities, building of one hundred lock-up stores valued at forty-four million Naira, provision of school uniforms for primary and secondary schools in Okigwe constituency valued at thirty million naira, to complement the Governor Owelle Okorocha’s free Education policy.
Hon Ihim who said that he had sponsored eight motions since he became a lawmaker, disclosed that one of them has been passed into law, while another is going through second reading.
The lawmaker said the cordial relationship between the Executive and the Legislators in the state is for smooth running of governance for the benefit of greater number of Imo citizens.
