Corps Members Serving in Imo State, especially the 2012 batch ‘B’s who just passed out on 6th June, 2013, have expressed dissatisfaction over non- payment of their monthly state allowance of N10, 000 as promised them in 2011 by Governor Okorocha of Imo State. The Corps Members lamented bitterly that they were disappointed in the governor for reneging on the promise he earlier made to them.

According to some corps members, Corpers who served in public schools owned by the Government were not being paid the monthly allowance, while some who served in ministries were given N5,000 and N3,000 monthly allowances respectively.
