Undoubtedly, politics is not a job. Even if one is a career politician, when you are out of power, then you are jobless. And that is why some politicians in Imo state who have been out of power have turn to farmers.
In a manner similar to the style of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, the former executive chairman of Isu Local Government Simeon Oguzie has turned to farming. The ex – council boss who was number 1 citizen in Isu LGA between 2004 – 2007 under the platform of PDP was spotted the other day in the agrarian Umuagwo community in Ohaji.Egbema LGA. Chief Oguzie who came with ash – coloured jeep parked in the road to inspect his farm while his workers busied around the portion of land. Though POPULAR SIDE learnt that Chief Ogusie has relocated to PH, but he still has time to work in his farm. May be if he has another chance to be in power Chief Oguzie may introduce agric revolution in his domain.
