It was a miraculous escape for this young student (name withheld) in Owerri last week Thursday when she was revived back to life after she passed out apparently as a result of serious bleeding after undergoing an unprofessional D and C to remove an un – wanted pregnancy.
The 23 year old girl who hails from Obosima in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area is said to have taken in and could not identify the owner of the pregnancy. After all her efforts to pin the pregnancy to some of her numerous male friends and non could own up, she decided to get rid of the pregnancy.
Unfortunately for her, the decision she took to keep her parents from knowing of the unholy act, turned out to put her life in serious danger as she resorted to patronizing an unprofessional that performed the D and C exercise, she had complications which resulted serious bleeding that almost took her life.
It was at that time that her colleagues (female students) decided to dump her at the general hospital Umuguma and called her parents who then came and took her to a private hospital for proper medical care.
Campus gist also gathered that the said young student is one of the “Aristo girls” that frequently abandon their studies and hop from one hotel to another with fun seekers either here in Owerri or the neighboring states includingAbuja.
