As a recording artiste and singer, some of her past and most familiar works include, Sovereign God, Alive to you , Oge nile, My Chariot etc released in the album “Alive to you” since 2009. Her most currently release which was on the 31st of March 2013 is a Self Produced down beat and soul soothing afro pop rock track “Emmanuel” which has been making the rounds in the media since then. Her sophomore album is of global quality, is fast cooking and about to drop under her style and registered outfit TGROOPZ MUSIC ltd after which she plans to embark on a series of tours and performances.
Gold is a motivator, music entrepreneur, female producer, artiste, songwriter, voice coach and lead piano tutor with Tgroopzmusic. She currently creates music in her private music studio in Ajah Lagos using Propeller head’s Reason software’s and Steinberg’s Cubase software’s amidst other professional audio plug-ins.
Even more remarkable is the fact that she says “I was divinely taught to produce” i.e. besides her other online resource persons. Gold is an artiste/FEMALE producer that has ‘got the beam on’ in a fast metamorphosing music industry which we have here in Nigeria.
In the singing circles, the name Gold is not unfamiliar, as she has been in the game for over 15years.Gold began stage singing in 1999 as an undergraduate of Imo state university and is a bundle of music talents. Also known as Gold de ambassador in some circles, she emerged as one of the Top Seven winning gospel singers selected from Nigeria out of a whooping 1000 contestants in the gospel BET organized show SUNDAY BEST in 2010 featuring Judges – Donnie Mclurkin, Kim Burrell who absolutely loved her performance every step of the way. Other judges in the event include Nigeria’s Muyiwa and iconic vocalist Timid dakolo. However as a beat maker and a music producer/Sound Engineer, Gold is now a leading female icon in a male dominated music production setting. The realization that she could make her own music came with a strong creative talent and inner resilience found rarely among the women folk in these times. As a prelude to this, she had begun informal piano lessons in 2012 and spent the most of that year learning the instrument. After wards propelled by destiny and divinity(which must have been her unusual strength) she went on to acquire the knowledge of how to produce music on even the most technical soft wares, lending more credibility to her works.
She plans to develop her outfit further and take on artiste development fully in order to assist young up and coming but highly talented artistes who are in need of a platform. Our feature has also produced and is currently creating other works which belong to other up and coming acts who love her style and mode of music creation and her sources reveal that she is willing to work with other outfits who will lend more professional presence to her efforts.
