We Are Non Partisan Group Mbaise Forum.

Ahead of 2015 general election in Nigeria, different organization in Imo State have started strategizing for their preferred candidate to occupy Imo State Government House otherwise known as Doughlas House, However, this is not the agenda of a novel group known as Mbaise Forum made up of notable personalities in the three LGAs of Mbaise.

 

Speaking to journalists at the inauguration of Ahiazu Mbaise Chapter of the Forum yesterday at Hilman Castle Hotel Oru Ahiara, the National Chairman of the group, Hon. Iyke Njoku said that the forum is a non partisan organization, determined to champion the cause of the clan getting its own share of dividends of democracy as it concern the 2015 Imo guber election.

 

Hon Njoku noted that the forum is not sponsored by any politician, stressing that they would correct the marginalization Mbaise people have witnessed since the creation of Imo State.

 

He expressed worry that since the creation of the Imo State, no Mbaise son had tested the seat of governance in the state, adding that the group would do everything within its reach to achieve its objectives, contributing, the chairman of Ahiazu chapter, Hon Uche Obasi expressed happiness for the opportunity to head the group in the area and promised to leave up to expectation.

 

Adding his voice, the vice chairman of the group, Chief Stephen Akwudike advised members to work hand and avoid anything that would undermine the growth of the organization, while Prince Obolobo, an exco member pledged to use every legal means to propagate the existence of the group in other States that habour Mbaise people.

 

Those inaugurated are, Chief Stephen Akwudike, Chief B.C Nwachukwu, Mr. Obioma Obi,, Mr. Esther Onwkwe, Hon. Sam Obiyor, Hon. Childi Iwuanyanwn Mr. Michael Onyeananam, Mr. Stephen Anyanwn, Mr. Anthony Ugwnli, as Vice Chairman, Secretary, Assistant Secretary woman Leader, youth leader, public Secretary Assistant Publicity Secretary, Financial Secretary, Assistant Financial Secretary, respectively, among 13 others.
