All is set for Ikeduru indigenes to support their son, Chief Raymond Nwachukwu ,(Omemma 1 of Avuvu) , as the Imo State Local Government Area Chairmanship election gathers momentum, the name, Chief Raymond Nwachukwu (Omemma 1 of Avuvu) , have continued to ring bell among Ikeduru Indigenes, as the Business Mogul cum philanthropist, (Omemma) picked his nomination , and Expression form under the umbrella of the All Progressives congress party APC, as he assures quality representation.
Chief Nwachukwu (Omemma 1 of Avuvu) who have touched a lot of lives positively within and outside Ikeduru LGA as gathered by Newsmen, took a bold step to declare his interest to run for the position of the Chairman of L.G.A Ikeduru at a time , he described as a perfect time to tackle the challenges faced by Ikeduru indigenes and better the lots of the people of the area.
Speaking with Newsmen on the reason behind his decision to aspire after a successful screening exercise , Chief Raymond Nwachukwu (Omemma 1) said he was motivated by the cry of his people to join the race . He said the people of Ikeduru have suffered greatly , which spurred him to take the giant leap as a concerned citizen of Ikeduru LGA.
He told Newsmen that he is trying to change the narrative by bringing the dividends of democracy closer to his people.
Chief Nwachukwu said he yearns to bring hope to his people and bridge the gap between Ikeduru people and her leadership which have led to their cries not being heard in the past.
The grassroot politician disclosed that , he will work in conjuction with the current 3R administration and remain loyal , noting that , Governor Hope Uzodinma need honest people at the Local Government level.
Chief Nwachukwu , whose philanthropic gesture knows no bound in Ikeduru LGA and whose name remain a house hold name according to feelers, ascribed his popularity to the way he relates with the poor, the needy and indigenes Ikeduru communities and beyond.
Chief Nwachukwu (Omemma 1) attended the best universities in the world and had the priviledge of having a military man as a father, he revealed that he is happily married to Nkechinyere Nwachukwu, a Ph.D holder.
Chief Nwachukwu , who has so many business conglomerates to his credit , said he is greatly disturbed each time he patrols the nooks and crannies of Ikeduru communities and see its current features and level of poverty. He also expressed dismay on the unemployment rate in Ikeduru LGA which he blamed on past leaders who share money, ignoring the masses. He also blamed past leaders for not having the zeal to develop Ikeduru Communities , He said he grew up in the village and he wants to use the opportunity to develop his LGA
He seized the platform to called on Ikeduru people to cast their votes with confidence for the right person to emerge , for a better Ikeduru.
Chief .Nwachukwu whose past ancedence speaks for, Also enjoined Imo citizens to support the present administration of Governor Hope Uzodimma , in it’s bid to better the lives of citizens.
