The Governor of Imo State Sen.Hope Uzodinma has been on the news for haven transformed and given the state a facelift in terms of quality road construction and human capital Development.
Recent events of the last few months in Imo state have shown and reaffirmed that Governor Uzodimma is working tirelessly in creating more resources and opportunities for the state and making same available to all and sundry.
Dr . Charles Uzopuo the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Gov.Lady Chinyere Ekomaru who spoke to Trumpeta in an exclusive interview expressed happiness with Uzodimma stating , that he is working with high spirit without relenting to restore the glory of the state to the real Eastern Heartland as all he thinks is investment which could yield positive results.
The vibrant CPS reiterated , that Governor Uzodimma began this good works by signing into law, the Imo State Electricity bill which empowers the state to generate, transmit and distribute her own power supply which he vehemently hinted, is a bold step , he disclosed that the giant strides of the Governor will also bring rapid development to the urban and rural communities in the state and also boost the economic activities and help to reduce the unemployment threshold.
Trumpeta equally learnt that there was a signed agreement by the Imo state Government led by Gov. Uzodimma with a credible World class Power Company from Egypt , that will generate, transmit and distribute electricity in the state. According to Governor Uzodinma ” ” there will be an improved and uninterrupted power supply within the next eight months”. He expressed.
Inline with fulfilling his positive agenda for the state Governor attracted the African Export and Import bank (AFREXIMbank) to
Imo and subsequently signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the bank , in his bid to ensure more wealth and shared prosperity for Imolites, Gov. Uzodimma attracted and commissioned a Federal Government Critical Infrastructure Project, the ANOH Gas Plant at ASSA, Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of the state of which he is optimistic that the Gas plant will explore the abundant gas deposit in the state to generate wealth,and more employment opportunities.
The recent activities of the Imo Governor has shown Shared Prosperity in action. It goes to confirm once again that the ascension of Gov. Uzodimma to power as the Governor of Imo state was beyond the outcome of electoral and legal contest but a divine providence as the manifestations of God’s plan for Imo state through him as it is crystal clear by the day through the empirical facts and figures orchestrated by his goals, bold steps and laudable achievements in office.
Therefore, all Imolites irrespective of political affiliation should continue to rally round Governor Hope Odidika Uzodimma as he gradually stirs the ship and willingly turns Imo state into an economic hub.
