•Thanks Imolites On Gov’s Second Term Re-election

A die-hard loyalist of the Senator Hope Uzodimma’s led administration in Imo State, Hon Nkenna John Nzeruo has expressed optimism that the second term regime of the 3R government would continue to dish out good governance to Ndi Imo.
This he said in his congratulatory message to the number one Imo State citizen, Governor Uzodimma, and his Deputy, Lady Chinyere Ihuoma Ekomaru who were sworn into office last week, January 15, 2014.
He explained that the journey for a more better Imo State had begun.
In his interview with Journalists in Owerri over the weekend, Hon. Nkenna who represents Oru East Local Government in the Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, ISOPADEC was elated by the galaxy of dignitaries from all walks of life who converged at the Dan Anyiam stadium, Owerri, being venue for the Inauguration.
Spotted among others were the Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, Leadership and Members of the National Assembly, Former and present Governors with their First Ladies, Traditional and Religious Leaders, Business tycoons to mention but a few.
Nzeruo highlighted that such caliber of men and women emptied in Imo to celebrate Uzodimma’s second term enthronement, describing it as first in history.
As a former Lawmaker in the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon Nkenna Nzeruo affirmed that Uzodimma has paid his dues in the selfless service of Ndi Imo, to Communities and to the Nation.
Hence, attributed such qualities as rare, only akin to Leaders of worth and integrity.
The Oru East born legislator in continuation of his felicitation note remarked that Uzodimma’s first outing was worthwhile.
Adding that it was a tenure Imolites should be proud of regardless of the global economic downturn orchestrated by insecurity.
“I am hopeful that the next four years of our amiable Governor shall continue to bring forth good tidings and the best for Imo People.
“Once again, thanking Imolites for giving him the mandate to be re-elected in office for accelerated development of our State.
“Without mincing words, it was a very resourceful four years. Imo State witnessed a massive development and growth in all facets. Under the first tenure, Imo was turned into a construction site. Governor Hope Uzodimma made it so, to the extent that other Governors used to visit to borrow a leaf from him.
“He is a man of many parts, a unifier, with milk of kindness flowing in him. Congratulations, Onwa Oyoko, may your light never dim!
“May God’s guidance filled with wisdom and good health be with our dear Governor as he steers the ship of the State to greater glory”, Nzeruo prayed.
Hon. Nkenna Nzeruo ceased the opportunity to thank the Governor for the opportunity granted him to serve in his government and becoming a part of the success history, even as he reassured of his undiluted loyalty.
To the opposition parties in the Court, he asked them to consider the well-being of Imo, rather than self aggrandizement.
To the rest of Imolites at home and in the Diaspora, Nkenna Nzeruo enjoined them to join hands with the governor in the realization of the lofty goals of making Imo State outstanding in the comity of States.
Nzeruo in his words said, “We have only one Imo State. We do not have two. And no two governors govern a State at the same time. By the Grace of God, Imo is getting there courtesy of the transformation agenda of the 3R mantra of the Shared Prosperity Government”.
