Why Kanu Heart Foundation Needs More Partners – 2023 ‘Elephant Walk’ LOC Chair, MacNelson Explains

More reasons have been made public why the Kanu Heart Foundation Needs More partnership from both the Government, Private Organizations as well as well meaning individuals.

Stating the need for more collaboration with government and it’s agencies during a press briefing on Wednesday at Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, the Local Organizing Committee Chairman of this year’s KHF’s World Heart Day Celebration, Mr MacNelson Okafor outlined the achievement of the KHF over the years noting that the foundation has successfully facilitated over 200 heart related surgeries through it’s partners who are majorly private persons and organizations.

This year’s theme; “Celebrate the Heart” is very unique, as you all know only the living can sing praises”, MacNelson pointed out.

Haven accessed the activities of the foundation over the years, Papilo deemed it necessary to celebrate the World Heart Day every 29th of September by sensitizing the populace on how to keep their heart safe by organizing seminars, Free medical outreach among many other activities including the novelty match between the Abia Government Excos/Friends of Kanu Nwankwo who took on Enyimba Legends/Entertainers which at the Enyimba Int’l Stadium on Thursday for charity while the climax which comes up today with the 6km Elephant Walk with Kanu Nwankwo to help keep our hearts healthy.

MacNelson who also doubles as the Chief Security Officer of Enyimba FC, Aba said the Abia State Government is already in collaboration with KHF through the Office of the Wife of the Abia State Governor adding that after the activities on Friday (today) that more facts on wether the Government can take on the responsibility of helping those that require surgery among other needs.

He emphasized that KHF is a charity organization that gives surccor on heart related issues to the needy through their partners hence the call for more partners.
