OZOPOLF Chieftain, Maxwell Igwe Celebrates Son’s Birthday in Style.

The popular saying that charity begins at home manifested itself at the palatial home of the Deputy Chairman of the Owerri Zone Political Leaders Forum (OZOPOLF) and oil Magnet Prince Maxwell Philips-Igwe at Umuezie Nguru in the Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State on Saturday December 29, 2012.

And that was the first year birthday of Little Jonathan Maxwell-Igwe.

Prince Igwe who resides in PortHarcourt the Rivers State Capital, decided to avoid the high and mighty in the society going by his status to use the opportunity to celebrate the 2012 Christmas for his kits and kins.

The ceremony apparently was dominated by children between the age of one to eighteen years who availed themselves of the opportunity to share jokes and fun.

Parents who brought their children to the show including both the Managing Editor and Editor-in-Chief of Imo Trumpeta Newspapers and their wives were also caught in the show.

Although the show was the birthday ceremony of Little Jonathan but before evening the entire scenario had changed as people from within and far turned in with eating and drinking galore all the way.

There were presents and gift items for the best dancers and others from the ever cheerful Jonathan Maxwell-Igwe.

OZB in Quagmire

This is not the best of times for the member representing NwangeleStateconstituency, Hon Ugonna Ozuruigbo. After decamping to APGA to pick the principal office position, OZB as Ozuruigbo is fondly called has dumped for his original party where he won the ticket to represent his people. OZB POPULAR SIDE learnt has written the Speaker to notify him of decision to quit APGA and return to PDP. OZB who has not hidden his desire to rejoin PDP is in a dilemma of sort. APGA is not willing to let him go, even as he still occupies the position of majority whip which he got courtesy of his APGA platform. Apart from not holding House session to accept and confirm his resignation, APGA Chairman, Okoroafor insists that OZB is their man. As at today, he still acts as a principal officer of the House and APGA party man. For now OZB’s mind is not at rest, he is still at crossroads until the House resumes ratifying his stand. The business mogul who deals with MTN products before delving into politics is one of the persons worried over the non-resumption of the State Assembly after the Christmas break. He is eager to see the House resume and confirm him a PDP returnee.
