Member who represented Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Asiwaju Jerry Alagbaoso, has expressed gratitude to his Constituents: Ezes, his Campaign Council and his political associates from different zones of Imo State for their massive support throughout his sojourn in the National Assembly.
Alagbaoso who addressed Ezes of Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency, Members of his Campaign Organization and others at the Secretariat of Imo State Council of Traditional Rulers, Owerri, on Tuesday, said he went, saw, conquered with various achievements such as empowerment, infrastructural development and employment.
Alagbaoso said he was able to achieve wonders in the House of Representatives having “believed that if you give one person work in a family, you have empowered about 15 – 20 persons in that family. There is no clan in our Federal Constituency that did not benefit from my employment, empowerment and infrastructural development”.
“The names of those employed in Commissions, Ministries, Departments and Agencies with verifiable infrastructural developments in our Federal Constituency, as way of representative accountabilities, as in our records and once more can stand the test of verification. In fact, I went to Abuja, I did new things and succeeded in transforming a lot of lives in our Federal Constituency and indeed Orlu Zone and Imo State in general”, pointing out that he has offered many employments to his people including persons from Orlu Okigwe and Owerri Zones.
Stating that he has alined himself with Imo Charter of Equity which he added gives room for rotation of key political offices in Imo State, Alagbaoso affirmed his resolve to fully support the reelection of Governor Hope Uzodimma who he praised for edifying the state with good governance.
The pragmatic leader who called on Imolites across political divide and zone to give their firm support to the APC gubernatorial candidate to enable his 2nd term victory, reminded the traditional rulers to intensify effort in their campaign for the Governor’s reelection, saying he will always lend support to Omeogor, to enable him represent Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency viably and effectively to improve good living therein.
“I have returned to Imo State this time to align myself with the other protagonists of Imo Charter of Equity whereby the gubernatorial positions in Imo State, for the interest of peace and harmony, and to cut cost, will be rotating on a tripod – Orlu, Owerri and Okigwe Zones… I am a leader and an elder in this state and I know what Imo Charter of Equity stands for and its associated advantages. So, I urge all hands to be on deck to enable all of us work together and not work across purpose towards the forthcoming November election”, Alagbaoso reiterated.
