The Youth Sports federation of Nigeria (YSFON) Imo state chapter has intensified preparations ahead of the forth coming YSFON Holiday sports program for U13 and U15 categories.
The one week holiday program which has been scheduled to begin on the 8th of August and will end on the 15th of August 2023 at the newly renovated YSFON sports center at the Old stadium Tetlow road Owerri.
Games like Football, Basketball and Table Tennis has been selected as the major sporting events on the day and will all be carried out in two major categories of Under-13 and Under-15 categories.
The semi finals and finals of the football tournament will be be held at the Dan Anyiam stadium pitch Owerri.
Registration for football tournament will be 20,000 Naira for male teams only while Basketball will be 23,000 Naira for both Male and female teams.
Table tennis registration fee will be 8,000 Naira for both male and female in both players.
Jersey’s and kits will be given out to participants while certificates of participation will be issued to participants.
Medals, trophies and alot of mouth watering cash prizes will be given out to winners.
Meanwhile Coaches and officials from the sports council will be on ground to scout talents who will be representing the state at the zonal stage of the national youth games.
