Hon Prince Eleazar Onyewuchi Ogbonna (Ambassador) a philanthropist cum astute politician, has proven to be an invaluable asset to 3R Shared Prosperity Government of Distn Sen Hope Uzodimma. He has consistently demonstrated excellence in his job as the Imo Sports Commission Chairman.
Chief Ogbonna ex-international player has gone above and beyond in developing new strategies that will greatly be profitable to Imo Sports in no distance time.
While in overseas, Ambassador has continued talking with his fellow counterparts overseas, who are chairman of sports commission in countries like Spain, Portugal, Germany etcetera, for possible partnership with these countries for sports development in our dear State. Such moves when finalised and sealed, will see Imo young talented footballers travel and play football abroad.
If at the end of discussions with other sports commission managements abroad, Imo stand to benefit lot of goodies, with our youths fulfilling their dreams of using sports to elevate themselves and lift their families.
Sir Ogbonna immediately after his appointment as Sports Commission Chairman by the performing governor of Imo State Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, started with renovation of Dan Anyiam Stadium. This have given the very iconic stadium that has produced iconic figures and super stars in the sports world a new face-lift and a conducive environment for sporting events in the State which has been graciously consolidated upon by the best Go Governor, Sen Hope Uzodinma.
His leadership skills and outstanding results so far have been exemplary. He has shown commitment as the Sports Commission Chairman and eager to do tremendously with maximum support from the State government.
Hon Prince Eleazar Onyewuchi Ogbonna is a team player, with required experience in sporting activities. His desire to make life better for the people through sports has never been hidden.
He has demonstrated true support towards 3R Shared Prosperity Government of Sen Hope Uzodimma through personal commitment in developing sports activities in the State.
His contributions and commitment to development of Sports in Imo State have been crucial in driving sports growth in the State.
Prince Eleazar is dedicated to his job as Imo Sports Commission Chairman and constantly seeking out opportunities for improvement in sports activities in the State which will in return become profitable to the State.
Sir Ogbonna have continued to show loyalty and dedication toward 3R Shared Prosperity Government of Sen Hope Uzodimma. He is today among the forefront field marshal, galvanising grassroot support for the reelection of the Digital Governor of Imo State, Sen Hope Odidika Uzodimma the Executive Governor of Imo State.
