GABON LOSE THREE POINTS IN A WORLD CUP DRAW

Gabon was on Wednesday striped off a point, they secured their 0-0 draw with Niger in a 2014 world cup game played earlier this year.

Congo now heads the group with four points from two matches. Gabon and Niger have three points and bottom placed Burkina Faso have one Moussons also played four matches when technically he is ineligible at the 2012 African cup of Nation as co-hosted Gabon reached the final of the quarter finals.

But the confederation of Africa football has not over turned those results as the team has not been awarded their points and trophies.

The 2012 African cup of Nations co-hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea was won by Zambia who defeated championship favorites Ghana and Ivory Coast in the Semi’s and Final respectively.
