Unity/Talent Hunt: Imo YSFON Fans Club Engages Benue Community In Friendly

As part of its social responsibility, talent discovery role as well as fostering unity among our youths, the Youths Sports Federation of Nigeria YSFON has recorded another groundbreaking achievement.

This was done when the sports development body organized a Unity/Talent Discovery friendly match between Benue Community in Owerri Municipal Council and the YSFON Fan club located at the Old Township Stadium, Owerri.

The highlight of the match was the unique and VIP kick-off by the General Manager of Heartland FC, Mr. Promise Nwachukwu who among many other dignitaries saw the very fascinating and entertaining encounter.

The friendly match produced 3 future talents who were scouted for grooming and a professional career.

They include; Terso Tali, John Kpakor, and Precious Alaribe.

YSFON South East Vice President who also doubles as Imo Chairman, Mr Ndubuisi Opara Ekeocha told the Trumpeta sports desk after the game; “We are ready to deliver to help our Government take them away from the street as well as to help them to discover their talents.

“This is a way to give an opportunity to the Wheel Barrow pushers and real Stadium boys (YSFON Fan Club members) to express themselves and fraternize amongst themselves through the most unifying factor, football.
