Information made available to Trumpeta has it that until his death, he was a man blessed beyond measures in wisdom, Knowledge and sound reasoning.

The deceased wife Edith Chinyere stated that  her husband’s death came at a time she least expected it and as such, can never be forgotten in a hurry.

In her words “he was someone who thinks about others before himself. Throughout his life time, he devoted his life to service of God. He was an “Ome Nwanne” who impacted positively in many ways on many lives including relatives, friends and strangers”.

Edith mentioned that her late husband always completes his advice on any issue with his favorite Bible Quotation which is Proverbs 3vs5-6. Which says” Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thy own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths.”

Chukwuma the first son of the departed made mention that growing up under his father’s watch was the best thing that ever happened to him and his siblings. He emphatically hinted that his father was a great disciplinarian who drew his  knowledge and instructions from the Holy Bible and as propagated by the God’s Kingdom Society.

He added, that his father exhibited implicit Faith in God Almighty and as much as possible lived peaceably with all men

Continuing, he stressed that he was outstanding in whatever he does as he showed commitment, honesty, integrity and dexterity.

In sorrow, he hinted that the good people of Umunahu, Ndokwu and indeed Umuebishie have lost a great Iroko and a rare gem.

He stated that even though death is inevitable for all he is convinced that they shall meet again with their father on the day of resurrection.

Elder Israel  of Aharanwa’s dynasty who spoke to Trumpeta stated that the demise of the highly cherished and intelligent giant  has created a great vacuum as he was an active member of God’s Kingdom Society whose life was a complete embodiment of Christian doctrine, benevolence and conviviality which were without restraint.

Continuing, he stated that the deceased was a bridge builder whose death can be best described not only as a great loss to the living but a great gain to heavenly hosts.

The funeral service had in attendance several Ministers of God which includes

Samuel Nweke, a Spiritual Adviser of the Church, Joshua Chukwudi, member of the Executive Board of the Church, Bro Daniel Ikpuri, Station Minister of Cross River State axis amongst others from Imo State, Warri and Abuja.
