..As NFF Vice President, Anyansi Rates Bashlyks Sports House High
The First Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Chief Felix Anyansi Agwu during the yuletide period paid a visit to the fledgling hospitality cum sports arena in Owerri, the Bashlyks Sports House.
Anyansi-Agwu who is also the Chairman of the ‘Aba Elephants,’ Enyimba Int’l Football Club was received on arrival at the centre by the Chairman Bashlyks Sports House, Chief Goodfaith Chibuzo Etuemena ‘Bash’ who expressed appreciation at such an august visit by the NFF second in command.
In his own speech, Anyansi-Agwu extolled the managerial qualities of Bash who was a former Chairman of Heartland Football Club of Owerri.
He said the host had proved himself to be a competent sports administrator when he managed Heartland FC out of many troubled waters which included promotion back to the Premier league in 2018.
Anyansi-Agwu said Etuemena’s tenure as the Chairman of Heartland FC witnessed many landmark innovations in football management and administration especially in the area of marketing and youth development.
The NFF Vice President said since after leaving office, Bash has not relented in his effort at grassroot sports development culminating in his founding of such a big modern arena (Bashlyks Sports House) where various sporting activities including Football, Swimming, table tennis and volleyball etc. are played in the highbrow centre of Owerri, Imo state.
Anyansi – Agwu noted that Bash also runs a football academy which gives opportunities to many upcoming youths to develop their talents as well as gives support to many other football teams in the South east Zone.
He described Bashlyks Sports House and sports arena generally, as a modern trend in the evolving sports and hospitality business.
