…..Marks Exercise Golden Dawn 11 In Owerri

Following the need to meet-up to their social and civil responsibility,the Nigeria Army 34 Atillary Brigade Obinze have embarked on a one day Medical Outreach in Etekwuru to mark exercise Golden Dawn 11.
Speaking on behalf of the Commander 34 Atillary Brigade Obinze ,Brigadier General Sani Suleiman ,the representative of the Commander, Lt. Col Abimbola Abolade the Garrison Commander ,said that the medical outreach was carefully selected to be in Etekwuru in Ohaji Egbema Local Government Area of lmo State because of the long lasting relationship with the brigade.
The said that the medical outreach was to help the people of the area to be medical feet so that they will enjoy the yuletide period in good health condition
As he encouraged the people of the area to feel free and open up to the doctors who are going to attend to them so that they will receive good treatment during the exercise.
Sulaiman, noted that during sometime in November, that the Governor senator Hope Uzodinma flagged off exercise Golden Dawn 11 which is aimed at stopping the tide of insecurity most special during festivals and yuletide period.
During the unveiling and flag off ,he encouraged the host community, Etekwuru, Umudike and Ekugba villages which made up the Autonomous to shun any activities that may jeopardize living conditions of the people, adding that the community has a long lasting relationship with the Brigade that made the commander to choose her for the outreach.
The added that the medical outreach is also part of Nigeria Army activities to bring good tidings with people living around their operations limit.
“34 Atillary Brigade Obinze have enjoyed long lasting relationship with the community so feel free to always call on the commander when need arises”he said
He said that the community is part of them while them is also part of the community, adding that the commander is always interested in the affairs of the Community.
General Sulaiman used the opportunity to call on other agencies to also do same gesture as part of their social and civil responsibility in any area they are occupying.
The commander used the opportunity to extend his profound gratitude and sincere appreciation to the commander in chief of the Aim forces , President Muhammad Buhari,the chief of Army Staff and the General Officer Commanding 82 Division for the unrelenting support on the safety and protection of Innocent citizens.
The outreach have over 200 people in attendance both the men, women as children were not left out in the exercise .
In his vote of thanks,one of the leaders of the community, chief Fidelis Emmanuel thanked the Nigeria Army 34 Atillary Brigade Obinze, Brigadier General Sani Suleiman for his kind gesture and bringing such a good activity for the community.
He added that the community will always remain grateful to the Commander as he promised that they are going to be law abiding citizens for the better of the Autonomous Community.
Some of the medical services that were given were Eye Consultation , Pharmacy, Laboratory Doctors Department, Dental Clinic , Checking of High Blood pressure among others.
