The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mbaitoli chapter has maintained that any attempt to suspend the state Deputy Chairman of the party, Chief Marcellinus Nlemigbo would deny it right to effective representation at the state level.

The PDP Ezinihitte Mbieri disclosed this at its general ward meeting held recently at the ward secretariat expressing sadness that the proposed suspension was coming at a time when serious efforts are being made to reclaim lost political grounds in Ezinihitte which has the highest register voters in Imo state.

They presented Barr. C. C Olumba to replace the position vacated by Dr. J.C Odunna in the state executive.

In a peaceful protest by the PDP women and youths in Mbaitoli at the party secretariat Okigwe Road, Owerri the women were carrying placards written “No Marcon, no Mbaitoli, no Imo PDP”, Marcon is the answer “spare Marcon and spare Imo PDP” among others.
