Whats Gwam, Agbaso & Uwajumogu?
The seeming frosty relationship between the Deputy Governor ofImoState, Sir Jude Agbaso and the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon Ben Uwajumogu came to the open recently when the Speaker was given a rousing welcome by his Okigwe Zone people. At the public event, the Deputy Governor was conspicuously absent while the Governor and his wife were present.
As the second in command in government followed by the Speaker, Sir Agbaso was expected to have showed solidarity to his next in rank. Popular Side learnt that there is no love lost among the duo hence the mikky-mouse game between them. Another prominent personality who also shunned the event was the Secretary to the State Government and Chief of Staff. Reasons for the absence of Prof Tony Anwukah and Prince Eze Madumere cannot be ascertained but it may not be unconnected with power show game and crisis of confidence rocking APGA ranks.
Okorocha and Disrespect for Protocol
The high disregard for protocol and accepted rule for official functions seem to be the trademark of the Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha as number one citizen. As a great achiever and a business mogul, Owelle seems not to be an apostle of due process and protocol. For the Ogboko-born politician, the end justifies the means and it does not matter how he achieves success, what matters is the success. At the civic reception organized by people of Okigwe Zone for Speaker Ben Uwajumogu, Okorocha just breezed in, moved to the podium immediately took the microphone and made speech before racing out of the venue as if Boko Haram suicide bombers wanted to hit the venue. Okorocha’s protocol officers should take time to tutor him on official procedures and conduct during functions. The action left the crowd surprised as many believed that the Governor may have a relationship with Russians for rushing in and rushing out.
Re-who Wants Francis Arthur Nzeribe Dead?
We which to strengthen the records as it affects the true identity of the late advert guru and PR Practitioner MAY NZERIBE who we erroneously last week described as an Anambra State citizen.

Okorocha, Ohakim on “One page” at Nkwerre.
For the first time since one handed power over to the other, former Governor of Imo State, Dr Ikedi Ohakim is agreeing with his successor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
Their agreement here has to do with marriage of their children, which fortunately happens to be taking place within the same period of time.
Obinna Ohakim, the first child and son of Ikedi Ohakim last week began the first move of getting married to his “better half”, a young beautiful lady from Nkwerre LGA.
The parents accompanied Obi to go and “knock” on the door of his would-be inlaws, before the traditional marriage ceremonies would follow.
Gov Okorocha will also next month give out his first daughter in marriage to his Commissioner for Lands, who doubles as his Deputy Chief of staff, Mr Uche Nwosu. And Nwosu hails from, wait for it, Nkwerre also like Obi Ohakim’s woman.
Who knows, both Ikedi and Rochas may one day “jam” at Nkwerre as they are now by marriage Ogo Nde Nkwerre.
What politics could not do, marriage can do, or what do you think? Popular Side is watching ooo!
Enyinna Onuegbu father’s burial and 2015
Late Pa Mark Onuegbu, father of Barr Enyinna Onuegbu, the Executive Chairman of Ngor Okpala LGA, was last week laid to rest in his home town ofUmuokoro Eziama.
Saying that the burial turned into a political carnival was an understatement as politicians from different camps trooped to the burial ceremony.
Among them were those of PDP, CAN, APGA and CPC. But most prominent was the former Governor of Imo State, Dr Ikedi Ohakim who was there with his wife, Chioma Ohakim.
Also present were Hon Emeka Ihedioha, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representative, PDP Chairman Eze Duruiheoma, Chief Ambrose Ejiogu, Prof Jude Njoku, Hon Emeka Nwaofor, IMHA Ngor Okpala, Prince Lemmy Akakem, Chief Onyenso Nwachukwu, Bar Ken Njemanze (SAN), Chief ABC Egu (retired Judge) and wife, Dr Eustace Eke, Chief Linus Okere, Prince Vincon Uwandu, Chief Blyden Amajirionwu, former Commissioners, Serving Lawmakers, all the Chairmen of Local Government Areas in Imo State, and others too numerous to mention.
But a top politician from Ngor Okpala and close confidant of Bar Onuegbu whispered to Popular Side that what happened was just a tip of the ice berg as the burial had afforded Ngor Okpala people the opportunity to know the contacts Onuegbu has in Nigeria. Why was he saying this? He told Popular Side to wait until 2015.
