DOES UNCONDITONAL LOVE REALLY EXIST?
One day a young guy and a young girl fell in love, but the guy came from a poor family which made the girls parent unhappy, the young man to not only court the young lady but to court the young lady’s parent too.
In time the young lady’s parent noticed that he was a good man and worthy of their daughters hand, but as a solider it became a complex issue to handle by both members of the family.
One day the young solider was called upon to serve his father’s land overseas for a very long time, the week before he left for his mission, the young solider romantically went on knees and proposed to the young lady “will you marry me” he said, the young lady with a deep sense of love echoed “yes yes yes!!!”After the engagement ritual, the young solider promised to fulfill marital rites on his return from the mission he was sent.
Tragedy struck a few days after he left, the young lady on her way back from the market had a head to head collision with a public vehicle which left her unconscious for days in the hospital.
Waking up from her sick bed in the hospital, she noticed her parents were crying and knew that something was not right in the course of her curiosity; she was told that the accident left her with a brain injury which damaged muscles controlling part of her brain disfiguring her once known beautiful face. Looking into the picture she said to her self “yesterday I was beautiful today am a monster with many ugly wounds”.
With so many thoughts running through her mind at the same time, she decided to dis-engage her self from her most loved and so cherished solider because she believed with her disfigured look she would be valued less than what she used to be before in his sight, giving up and willing to forget all about him in the past and all they had and shared to together.
Within twelve months the solider wrote as many messages as he could, but the young lady never replied any until one day her mother walked into her room and announced the soldier’s return, the young lady instead of being excited she screamed aloud saying “don’t tell him about me don’t tell him am here” her mother said to her “he is getting married” and handed her his wedding invitation. Although deep down in her heart she still loves him she sadly opened the wedding invitation, lo! And behold her name was boldly written on it.
As confused as she was, the young solider entered her room surprisingly with a bouquet of flower, he knelt down beside her and said yet again “will you marry me” so ashamed, preventing him from seeing her face she covered it and said that she is not like she used to be before he left “I am now ugly” there the young solider said, “without your permission I ordered for your photograph and realized that nothing can change the face of love, especially the one I have for you”.
How many men can do this, how many men can still remember the face of love that was fell for and felt for from the first time.
Miss Heritage Beauty Pageant Holds in Owerri

A beauty pageant that celebrates the African heritage and culture, known as the Miss Heritage Nigerian Beauty Pageant is set to hold at Concorde Hotel Owerri on Sunday.
Speaking to newsmen, the initiator of the beauty pageant and CEO of Caires Beauty Agency, Miss Chinor Emeka, stated that this is the second time that the beauty pageant will be holding, after its maiden edition inAbuja.
She said that the beauty pageant is meant to promote the African cultural values in terms of youth motivation, mass education and national re-orientation for self and community development.
Miss Chinor disclosed that the beauty pageant is open to young ladies between the ages of 18 to 25 years, with an official car and one million naira available as gifts to the overall winner.
Apart from the beauty pageant, she also disclosed that awards will be conferred on individuals in the society who have distinguished themselves in promoting the African culture.
Thirty contestants from thirty states of the Federation will participate in the beauty pageant.
