Despite antics being employed by a former governor of Imo State and Senator Representing Orlu zone, Owelle Rochas Okorocha to evade prosecution, the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, has ensure he will be arranged today before the federal High Court in Abuja.
Okorocha will be arranged over complicity in a N2.9billion fraud EFCC had a fortnight ago revealed about the prosecution.
The former Imo State Governor, Anayo Rochas Okorocha from what Trumpeta learnt, will on Tuesday, February 22 be arraigned before a Federal High Court in Abuja on corruption charges.
Okorocha, currently a serving Senator, will be put on trial by the Federal Government on 17-count charges involving criminal diversion of public funds running into billions of naira and properties.
According to the charges sighted dated January 24, 2022, signed by one A.O Ikota indicates that all necessary steps including service of the charges on Okorocha and other defendants in compliance involving criminal diversion of public funds running into billions of naira and properties.

Sources confided in our correspondent that all necessary steps including service of the charges on Okorocha and other defendants in compliance with the provisions of the law have been taken.
The arraignment is expected to be presided over by Justice Inyang Eden Ekwo of the Abuja division of the Federal High Court.
