The month of February especially the 14th day is globally celebrated as ‘Lovers Day’ and is usually used by many to express love to their dear ones.
For members of the Diamond Dynamics Fitness Club DDFC, Owerri it was a moment for sober reflection as they took time on Friday February 11, 2022 to visit the less privileged at Mother Divine Orphanage in Aladinma Estate, Owerri were they gave out food items, confectioneries and cash to the home to help the inmates.
Led by their enigmatic President, Hon Bright Anyanwu they said they have a convent to use their combined little widow’s might to help the down trodden;
“We are here to share with the less privileged ones especially in this moment of Love and to make them feel loved because they deserve it as well.
“It is our tradition as we periodically open our ‘Covenant Box’ were we make daily contributions in our club.
” Whatever is generated from the box is often used to help the helpless amongst us and to offset hospital bills for people who can’t afford their them in hospitals we visit .
“Today we are here to see the motherless ones in this home to share love with them
One of the keepers of the Orphanage, Mother Divine, while appreciating them for their kind gesture also used the medium to appeal to the government and spirited individuals to emulate the DDFC by supporting the children’s school fees so they can be guaranteed a good future.
The celebration continued on Saturday as the most influential fitness A-40 club East of the Niger, Diamond Dynamics Fitness Club Int’l DDFC held a “Walk 4 Life” to help enhance their healthy life.
It was indeed a successful outing as the walk train took off from the ICAPS on Egbu road through Fire Service Junction, Wetheral road to Government House Round about through Okigwe road to IMSU Junction and Aladinma road behind IMSU to Chukwuma Nwoha road back to the clubs base @ ICAPS.
The walk train was well treated with wonderful oriental hipup songs as they thoroughly walked int9 healthy life.
Meanwhile, in continuation of the club’s Valentine’s Day celebration, the entire DDFC members on Sunday gathered at Ibari Ogwa on Port Harcourt road to merry and celebrate with their family members, relatives and friends..
