The 3 local government areas in Mbaise namely; Aboh Mbaise, Ahiazu and Ezinihitte have hailed Governor Hope Uzodinma for his good gesture towards them and his promise to fix their major roads that collapsed.
In a meeting convened by the three IMC chairmen of the 3 LGAs, messrs; Hon Barr Sir Emma Njoku (IMC Chairman of Aboh Mbaise), Chief Larry Obinna Chikwe,( IMC Chairman of Ahiazu Mbaise), and F.C Onyeberechi, (IMC Chairman Ezinihitte Mbaise) held on the 16th of January, 2022 at Aboh Mbaise council headquarters, it was agreed that Mbaise people must surely reciprocate the good gestures of Senator Hope Uzodinma, Governor of Imo who from all indication has shown love to Mbaise nation.
The Chairmen and the stakeholders of Mbaise APC that attended the meeting thanked governor Uzodinma for accepting to rehabilitate Ngor Okpala, Eke-Ahiara road up to Aba branch.
The Communiqué at the end of the Mbaise leaders/Stakeholders meeting could be summarize as follows;
Mbaise people used the auspicious occasion to congratulate the Governor of Imo State Senator Hope Uzodinma (Onwa Oyoko) on his two years in office
The leaders and stakeholders thanked the governor for his remarkable leadership in Imo State in the last two years and his magnanimity in appointing Mbaise sons and daughters into positions.
They equally recognized the efforts of his Excellency towards reconstructing, rehabilitating and recovering, “an Imo State that was once lost” via his visible land mark projects.
They also thanked the Governor for his recent commitment/pledge to start the dualization of Owerri-Mbaise Umuahia road. As well as Mbaise Okpala road and Mbaise-Mbano road as quickly as possible.
Moreso, the people of Mbaise passed vote of confidence on the Governor of Imo State Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma and reaffirmed the unalloyed continued support to his administration.
They begged the Governor to allow the Ahiara Polytechnic Mbaise to take off for academic activities.
Mbaise leaders and stakeholders further commended the efforts of his Excellency in the area of security and job creation through several youth and women empowerments and solicited for more of his empowerment to the teaming unemployed youth of the area. The motion for the communiqué was move by Nze Nwata Francis from Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area, and was supported by Chief G.O Ibeawuchi from Aboh Mbaise.
