actor behind his quest to ensure effective representation for the people of Nwangele
OZB, who represents Nwangele State constituency in the Imo House of Assembly, stated this after inspecting ongoing works at Njeala market in Di-na- Ume community.
He said the welfare of the average Nwangele indigene is his concern and in line with this, he is determined to ensure he makes his constituency the centre of commerce and tourism, stressing that the construction of market sheds will help the expansion of the two markets to international standard.
He charged the contractor handling the project of Njeala market to ensure it completes the project within the time frame agreed in the contract paper to enable the immediate commencement of the second phase in Eke-ukwu Amaigbo market, pointing out that he will continue to provide proactive, effective and people oriented representation.
He said ‘This first phase in Njeala market in Di-na-ume with 36 sheds and Eke-Ukwu Amaigbo market with 36 sheds. I also vowed to use my tenure as honourable member to reposition the collective and individual economy of Nwangele LGA. My performance within the few months in office is open for assessment. I m deeply concerned on how to strengthen the economy of Nwangele LGA and to that effect I have hired consultants to partner with Nwangele Economic Team in realization of these set objectives’
OZB enjoined all Imolites to explore the dialogue option anytime they feel they have grey areas to sort out on Imo State economy, adding that heating up the polity will choke up the economic potentials of the State. He added that the present administration in Imo State believes in good governance and to improve the individual welfare of Imo citizens, stating that these policies and programmes are aimed at repositioning Imo economy.
The House Committee Chairman on Public Utilities insisted that the common interest of all lovers of Imo State should be to ensure rebuilding the Imo economy, urging Nwangele indigenes to be committed to the economic development of Nwangele LGA.
