Akuneme Sues For Peace Among Imolites, Felicitates With Governor

The pioneer President  of Awo-Omamma Development Forum, and the Senior Special Assistant to the Imo State Governor on Information Technology, Chief Tony Akuneme has enjoined Imo indigenes at home and abroad to give the Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma a chance to focus on delivering sustainable development to the people. 

Chief Akuneme, a Deputy Comptroller of Immigration Service decried the recent spate of violence in the State and the South East in general, stating that no society can move forward in an atmosphere of insecurity.

He spoke at the sidelines of the public presentation of the book authored by Governor Uzodinma, last weekend in Owerri.  

Meanwhile, the Senior Special Assistant has felicitated with his boss on his 63rd birthday.

Not only that he poured eulogies on him, he also wished the Oru East born Governor  greater wisdom to pursue the governance of the State and its citizens with the desired fatherly love, understanding and more focus so that peace and happiness can return to the well known center of tourism and entertainment.

Said he, “The Uzodimma I have known for some years now, will soon move out and embrace all aggrieved persons and groups, if that is what it will take him to succeed. But while that is done, let everybody close ranks and work for the progress of our beloved Imo”.
