The Imo state Football Association in conjunction with Emmanuel Amuneke has concluded plans for Under 13 and 15 football talent hunt.
According to a statement credited to the FA Technical Committee Chairman, Mr Ndubuisi Opara, the exercise is geared towards developing talented players in the state who can represent the state in national competition as well as be scouted by the Nigerian club sides.
Recall that a similar programme couple of years back enabled the state to discover super stars such as Kelechi Iheanacho among others who later represented Nigeria and won the U-17 World Cup at United Arab Emirate UAE, in 2013.
The synergy the FA has with Eziobodo in Owerri West born gaffer, Emmanuel Amuneke aside from the coaching clinic recently organised for coaches in the state sometime last month will also see the former Barcelona star working with the FA to identity football talents for greater future.
Sale of forms for interested participants according to the release is on at the State FA office at Dan Anyiam stadium.
Participants can also obtain the form from their LGA sports offices as young talents and parents are urged to avail themselves of this wonderful opportunity to realise their dream.
