Ex Iwuanyanwu Player, Mbachu, Former Heartland Sec, Neville Appointed Into Imo FA

Ex -Iwuanyanwu National player and former Secretary of Heartland FC, Casmir Mbachu and Okere Neville have both been inducted into the Imo State Football Association as board member for Okigwe Zone and Sole Administrator for Ngor Okpala LGA respectively.
Speaking to sports journalists at the Dan Anyiam Stadium yesterday morning, the state FA Chairman, Mazi Amanze Uchegbulam who said the move was necessary to replace Sir Emma Ochiagha who was formerly the vice chairman and also represented Okigwe Zone in the board as well as Late Mr Collins Amadi who was until his demise was the Sole Administrator for Ngor Okpala LGA.
Parts of the letter for Neville’s appointment read;
“It is our honour to inform you that the executive committee of Imo state Football Association in its meeting of 4th August 2021 approved your appointment as Football Administrator for Ngor Okpala LGA pending the ratification by the next Congress of the Association.
“The appointment is in recognition of your outstanding contributions to the development of football in Imo state and beyond.
In their reactions to Trumpeta sports desk on the recent development, Mbachu and Neville pledge to bring their wealth of experience and knowledge in the game in other to help move football forward in the state.
They however appreciated the FA Chairman and the entire board members for finding them worthy to serve promising not to let the trust reposed on them down.
