NURTW Boss, Okorie Partners Imo FA For Promotion Of Grassroots Football ..Meets Tink -Tank Committee

The Imo State Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW, Mr Davidson Okorie “One Man Squad” has pledged to partner Imo Football Association FA, with the view to promoting grassroots football in the state.
One Man Squared as he is fondly called made this ascertain during a parley with the Imo FA Consultant, Hon Ugochukwu Nnah “ABJ” and the Tink -Tank Committee on Tuesday at his Office in Owerri.
The former players and Imo FA number 1fan assured that he and his NURTW Executives will in their capacity always support Imo FA projects geared towards promoting grassroots football in the state.
Earlier, the Imo FA Consultant, Hon Nnah while reeling out the FA’s plan of rejigging grassroots football, he pointed the need for corporate organizations and government agencies to partner the state football house in bringing back the lost glories which according to him will serve as panacea for arresting youth restiveness and social vices as well as improved economy if well managed.
He said the state can alleviate unemployment through well functional football grassroots project that can empower our youths and turn them to millionaires in near future.
Highlight of the brief event was the presentation of an Imo FA branded number 1jersey with to “One Man Squad”.
Others who also wittnessed the event include. Mr Vincent Isaac (FIFA Agent) and Mr Godfrey Ndudi (Imo FA Secretary) among others.
