Heartland Mgt Commiserates With Late Zigima’s Family

Heartland FC management led by the Ag General Manager, Mr Promise Nwachukwu on Tuesday paid a condolence visit to the family of their fallen hero, Collins Amadi “Zigima”.
According to a release by the NPFL sides media, Nwachukwu described late “Zigima” as a consummate Professional who brought joy and happiness to many Imolites and fans of then Iwuanyanwu Nationale with his swashbuckling skills.
“Zigima as he was popularly known was an entertainer that always had a smile on his face.
“He made IMO people happy with his God given talent. A very skillful player who wowed us every Matchday with his Zigi moments.
“Zigima believed that the fans deserved to be entertained and took up the task to oblige the fans with what they truly deserved.
The General Manager however, assured the family that Heartland FC by God’s stands by them In this  trying times. He also conveyed a message from the Hon. Commissioners for Youth, Sports & Social Development,  Hon Dan Chike Ogu “Hamza” to the family and  later signed a condolence register on behalf of the state owned NPFL side.
Late Collins Amadi played for Iwuanyanwu Nationale and Rangers International in the domestic top flight before having a brief stint in Germany.
He passed on, on 13th  June 2021, after a protracted Illness.
He is survived by his wife , son (Elvis ) and other siblings.
