GIRLS HYGIENE DAY CELEBRATION: EOCF Partners Old Girls Of OGSS “Class Of 2003” For Students Sensitization ..As Sir Obidinma Encourages Them To Embrace Sport

The Elkanah Onyeali Care Foundation EOCF, recently Sponsored the Girl Hygiene Seminar in Collaboration with the Old Girls Class of 2003 of Owerri Girls Secondary School, Imo State.

The President of the foundation, Sir Obidinma Onyeali (KSC) who was ably represented at the function by the Project Manager, Ngozi Uzomaka Oparah and some Staff members Of Elkanah Onyeali Care Foundation Visited the School on Tuesday 25th May 2021 to sensitize “The Girl Child” on  the importance of Hygiene In preparation for the “Girl Hygiene Day Celebration” which was observed on Thursday May 27, 2021.

The Elkanah Onyeali Care Foundation Indeed Played A Great Role In The Seminar Because Of Our Great Interest In The Development And Growth Of Young People In Imo-State, Nigeria and the World at large.

It was a great Opportunity To Encourage The Nigerian Students Especially Our young Ladies To continue to stay Healthy and not shy away from Sports because of their Menstrual Nature.

In his address, Sir Obidinma odentified that Sports as we would agree has the potential to play a vital and Great Role to empower The Girl Child.
However, EOFC joins many spirited men and women around the world to advocate that Women must be given equal opportunity in every field irrespective of tgeir Gender.

He further stressed that through Sports the Goal is to raise a Healthy and Honorable adults with Unique Skills while Individual Team Mates Is also Acquired.

EOCF believes that Women Empowerment should be a goal everyone In Our Society both individuals and Government must both come together to make Happen.

We therefore encourage every Girl Child to take Hygiene very Importantly as good Hygiene Is essentially how one keeps our bodies clean and  healthy which is in line with the injunction that says, “Health is Wealth”.
