Attack on Imo Schools by unidentified miscreants has come to alarming rate in different parts of the State.
During the sit at home that took place last Monday, it was discovered that hoodlums used the opportunity to invade so many secondary and primary schools in Imo State to cause terror more problems to Teachers and Principals.
Report has it that the hoodlums vandalized so many schools especially those in Owerri municipal council Area.
At Urban Secondary School, World Bank, New Owerri, it was discovered that the bad boys broke into the Principal Office to destroy property and school documents. It was also discovered that they made away with vital items leaving the principals and students of the schools in tears.
At Ikenegbu girls secondary school, apart from destroying windows and protectors, the hoodlums turned the class rooms to chalets and rape centers.
Information revealed that a pastors who came to the school to pray witnessed a marathon sex involving a girl and boys in one of vandalized class rooms at Ikenegbu girls secondary school Owerri.
Our reporter gathered that almost all the burglary proof in that particular school have been pulled down.
Amakohia secondary school is not left out as criminals in the name of cultism come to the school on daily bases to harass, intimidate and disturb students and teachers.
The Parent Teachers Association PTA of various schools in Imo State are now raising serious alarm calling on the State Governor to do something fast as a matter of urgency to protect school Teachers, Principals and students.
Chairmen of PTA of schools have written to the governor to send security men to schools. As a result of the insecurity in schools, many teachers and students as we gathered are no more coming to school in order to be free from hoodlums attack.
School girls are also crying out on the danger they face every day. Trumpeta was told that many of female students are raped.
