Uzodimma: Okorocha is Hunted By His Past, Don’t Take Him Serious

Exchange of verbal fireworks has continued between Governor Hope Uzodimma and his predecessor, Senator Rochas Okorocha.
Okorocha had on Sunday when he appeared on Channels TV programme “Sunday Politics”, accused Uzodimma of hating him with so much passion.
“Governor Hope Uzodimma hates me with passion. He just hates me. I don’t know the reason he has been fighting me, but never a day, I fought him and I made it a point of duty that I will never fight back.
But he just shows hatred and envy. I don’t know why or for what reason and he doesn’t seem to be changing. He is not relenting, the former governor reeled out.
But Uzodimma replied his successor, saying Okorocha is being hunted by his past, describing him as a rabble rouser
In a statement by Oguwike Nwachuku, his Chief Press Secretary/Special Adviser, in response to the interview of the former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha’s, he said, “Nigeri¬ans should not take him (Oko¬rocha) serious. He is being hunted by his ghost over how he destroyed a state he gov-erned for eight years.
“Imo people may forgive him but they will not forget what he did to them – raping the state in and out and mak¬ing it look like a laughing stock until recently when Governor Hope Uzodimma took up the challenge to clear his mess”, the statement noted.
