Oru East APC Receives Boost, As Nelson Ezerioha Re-validates Membership

It is a great news for the All Progressive Congress, APC in Oru East Local Government Area, Imo State, over the revalidation of membership into the party, of a former Commissioner for Special Duties and Transport in the State, Hon. Dr. Nelson Ezerioha.
The LGA recently recorded the return of one of the pioneer founding members of APC into the party platform, hence giving it more boost.
An erstwhile politician, Hon. Nelson Ezerioha served the State as former Commissioner in the Imo State Judicial Service Commission, ISJSC, and Commissioner in Imo State Independent Electoral Commission, ISIEC.
He is an accomplished PhD holder in Law, and have Masters and Bachelor Degree in Law. Hon Ezerioha is a revered Barrister at Law.
Information obtained by Trumpeta Newspaper revealed that he revalidated his membership in his Ohuba Awo-Omamma ward 3.
In a chat with Trumpeta Correspondent, the legal luminary disclosed that he only returned to his original party, a party he was part of its formation in Imo State.
Hon. Ezerioha opined that he is a fully registered APC member, but had to revalidate his membership following directives from the National Executive Council, for the registration of new members and revalidation of old members.
He further explained that as a loyal party man who joined APC from the onset, hence the necessity to obey the directive from the party’s hierarchy (Abuja).
“I am not a new person in APC. I returned to my original home, to help strengthen it the more”.
However, Hon. Nelson Ezerioha described APC as the best party to beat in Nigeria.
He said, “As one of the pioneer members of the party, I want to see APC continue in the leadership of this country, which would be effective for  good governance”.
Meanwhile, he enjoined the public and fellow party members to always proffer best advise to the leaders, rather than misleading them with falsehood.
It could be recalled that while serving the State in different offices, the Oru East born lawyer and politician was said to had contributed immensely to the promotion of humanity and development of the State.
In a related development from details gathered by this Newspaper, plans are said to be underway for the overall reception of party stalwarts and members.
