Online Trends gathered from Social Media that some workers have been owed since March 2020 in Imo State through a leaked soft copy of a letter from the office of the Accountant General Treasury House, Government Of Imo State ,Owerri dated 17th May,2021and signed by a top government officials (names witheld)

Ogu Bundu Nwadike on his Facebook page wrote”The trending letter is a vindication of the organized opposition in Imo State which has continually reported that Uzodinma has fallen short of the glory of payment of salaries and pensions to Imo workers and Pensioners.
Conversely, Uzodinma with his aides and agents have been arguing with copious amount of lies, falsehood ,propaganda and blackmail that Uzodinma has paid all Imo workers and owing no one a Kobo.
Today vide Uzodinm’s order to the Accountant General, he has confessed that actually he hasn’t been paying Imo workers since March 2020.
It is now left for Imo people, Uzodinm’s loyalist and apologists, with Uzodinma’s supporters to judge and ask Uzodinma why he has been deceiving the people for many months claiming to have paid salaries ,when in actuality he hadn’t.
Another Online Checker wrote” lies can’t and won’t be hidden forever!.They insulted and castigated those of us who kept shouting on top of our voices that genuine and hardworking workers were being owed since March 2020 and they should be payed. The same people who called us names are now requesting for names and credentials of Workers owed since March 2020″.
Collins Opuruzor, the DG PDP New Media wrote” a leaked memo from the Uzodinma regime acknowledged that local government workers have not been paid since March 2020.The role of Hope Uzodinma in Imo is an abomination unto mankind.”
It is indeed very worrisome to know that workers have not been paid and yet some State Commissioners keep insisting that all is well in the State when people are languishing in hunger.
Online Trends monitoring events observed that the workers are no longer Happy with the present trend and wants the government and all involved in this to do all that is expected of them to ensure they are paid without more time wastage.
